The Neoclassical lifestyle of the socialites basking in the Palm Beach sun, the Bayous of Louisiana, the charm of Charleston, and the eeriness of Savannah are the inspirations for my work.

The Deep South is mysterious, dignified and rich in its deep roots of history seen through the eyes of the lady antebellums, shaded by the lush canopies of Live Oak Trees. A place where the peaches grow and the people talk real slow. This is where I grew up and this is where I go home to.

With a punch of the architecture of the coastal plantations, the lush vegetation of the subtropical coast, the Caribbean, textiles, prints and the interior florals of the old southern decor, I have been inspired to create a recipe that is thrown onto a canvas to create abstracts that are playful, lush and delicious. This is my lovely way of abstracting the Deep South.
